Manalor County Commissioner of Tonj State Paul Mangong Awak on Wednesday confirmed that his county is still encountering flood due to heavy rains.
He says the World Food Program promised to give food items to the victims who are in dire need of assistance, Voice of Hoe Radio reports.
In his message to the organizations, Mangong asks other organizations to rescue people with medicines and food among other assistance.
The commissioner says the flood forced wild animals to occupy some houses while people fear them because they bite.
