Justice and Peace Commission with support from CORDAID through CEPO organized a one day roundtable discussion for the security sectors in Wau on gender equity and women empowerment.
Director for Change Maker South Sudan, John Mabior Malek, says the roundtable aims at raising awareness about the inclusion of women in the revitalized agreement, especially in the security sectors.
Mabior Malek explains that the meeting was also meant to empower forces to know about gender equity.
Meanwhile some participants express their gratitude for having such discussion, calling for women inclusivity in all government sectors.
The Roundtable was conducted on Tuesday at Civic Engagement Center in Wau.
It gathered about 20 security sectors, including the Police, Civil Defence, prison and the Wild Life services.
