Forty-eight motor cycles including the ones for government in Tonj State are currently in the traffic police custody because of issues of licenses.
Traffic Police Director Joseph Liti Jabu told Don Bosco Radio that the exercise came up after three cases of motorcycles reached to their desk.
He says it is the duties of traffic police to carry out such an exercise in order to reduce crime rates.
‘Out of forty-eight motor cycle only few people managed to access the licenses’, Liti explains.
The exercise will take more than two weeks to ensure that all motor cycles have licenses, he discloses.
Meanwhile Santino Ngoth Anyuon, who accessed a license earlier, says license protects and controls any vehicles from harm.
He appeals to his fellow riders to access their licenses despite challenges of the current situation.
The speakers made the remarks in an interview to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj
