ORG and Police hold public dialogue on civilians’ safety in Juba

The Organization for Responsive Governance or ORG in collaboration with South Sudan Police Service will hold a public dialogue of civilians’ safety in Juba on Thursday.
 
Rajab Mohandis, ORG Executive Director says the event is discuss security needs of civil population focusing on police response and other security institutions.
 
The dialogue is also to create a safe environment and give people confidence to pursue livelihood without fear of armed robbery in Juba town and other parts of South Sudan, he adds.
 
Mohandis explains that another reason of the meeting is also to invoke certain responses particularly in the surge of criminality in Juba City.
 
He says the dialogue is expected to create a platform between the police and the participants.
 
Participants including chiefs, religious leaders, civil society organizations, women, youth, business community, academia, diplomats and development partners will share their security needs and receive answers from authorities.
