The Choir of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek on Sunday converged at Sacred Heart of Jesus for Eucharistic celebration for the first time since its formation in August to sing together as one group.
St Mary’s Choir trainer David Arima said the choir will visit and pray in all parishes of central deanery to improve singing and demonstrate faith and unity among Christians.
He calls on the young people who are interested in singing to join the choir.
Josephine Abaaithok Matiok, expressing her happiness says the move united the youth from different communities as one body of the church.
She explains that sitting arrangements was mixed during the singing in the church which is important.
The choir members made the remarks on Sunday after the mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Malual-Bab.
