UNMISS trains Wau State police on protection of civilians

Nepal forces of the United Nation Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS organized a three workshop for police in Wau on protection of civilians in conflict.
 
Voice of Hope Radio quoted POC Coordinator in Wau Nayree says police must have the knowledge and skills of protecting civilians, and have administration and the principles of human rights.
 
She appreciates UNMISS police for imparting in them practical skills.
 
Acting Police Commissioner in Wau Colonel Riarch Biago urges all to give the knowledge to their colleagues in their work places for better achievement.
 
He appreciate the great work that UNMISS Nepal forces carried in the state.
 
The officials made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio during the conclusion of three-day workshop at Ministry of Education.
