The Catholic Diocese of Rumbek Pastoral Department on Saturday graduated 15 participants who underwent three months Dinka language course.
Speaking during the event, facilitator Daniel Reec Makom, explained that language and culture play a big role in bringing people together in the world.
He suggested that the course should be extended to more than three months for learners to understand it well.
Margret Njoki Mungai who spoke on behalf of the participants said knowing the language enables others to relate and understand well without difficulties.
Monsignor John Mathiang Machol, Rumbek Catholic Diocesan Coordinator points out that the course will help grandaunts to understand the culture of Dinka people to carryout evangelization easily.
The training commenced on June 24and concluded on September 27, 2019 and the participants were awarded with certificates.
