Egypt to treat 1 million patients of hepatitis, says health ministry

Minister Dr Riek Gai Kok announced that the Egyptian government is expected to treat one million patients suffering from hepatitis c and cervical cancer in Juba.
 
He during his visit to Jonglei State with Egyptian diplomat stresses that Bor Hospital is in need of immediate medical support.
 
Dr Gai adds that very soon there will be treatment for heart cancer in South Sudan.
 
The minister says patients are just sleeping outside in Bor Hospital due to lack of wards for admitting them.
 
Governor of Jonglei Makeer Thiong Maal discloses that Egypt is ready to donate assistance, including an eye specialist to the hospital medical 
 
Egyptian consul Ahmed Al Bakir explains that their visit was to see their medical center in Bor which was established in 2013, so that it is re-opened to treat people.
 
The officials were speaking at Bor airport last week during the minister and Egyptian diplomat’s visit to Jonglei State.
