Nonviolent Force graduates 60 youth on peace protection skills

Nonviolent Peace Force operating in Rumbek on Wednesday graduated the first and the second batches of 60 youth protection team from three counties of Western Lakes State.
 
The course on peaceful approach skills, aims at brought together youth of Malek, Amok-piny and Rumbek Center counties to know mechanism of bringing peace, Good News Radio reports.
 
Speaking during the graduation, Jeeva Innasi, Nonviolent Peace Force Program Manager, urges the young people to unite and speak peace in their neighborhood.
 
Youth protection officer, Samuel Mabor Alit urges the sixty grandaunts to go and transform the state to have a peaceful region.
 
Western Lake State Assembly Speaker Chol Kutwel Manohm also encourages youth to convert people from the culture of violence to peaceful way of resolving issues.
 
The event brought together community members, youth and several government officials.
