Torit choirs arrive home after celebrating centenary in Juba

Choirs of the Catholic Diocese of Torit have finally returned home after attending centenary celebrations of the Archdiocese of Juba.
 
Many choirs expressed their happiness to Radio Emmanuel upon arrival on Monday evening at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral.
 
Johnson Moidi says the centenary was colorful because many dioceses participated and were happy during the celebration.
 
Suzan Idwa Apollo of Sts Peter and Paul Parish says they celebrated very well in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba and were encouraged to forgive one another to achieve lasting peace in the country.
 
Torit was represented by eight parishes and that they are to start preparing for their centenary, according to Leebel Amos.
 
Jokomine Ikulang Quintus is happy because the Catholic Church is now celebrating one hundred years of faith that was started by great grandparents.
 
About one hundred choirs and elders from different parishes went to Juba last week to celebrate centenary of the Archdiocese of Juba on Saturday and animated a mass at St Theresa Cathedral in Kator on Sunday
