Tonj Information Minister William Wol Mayom says the government is doing general disarmament cross the state.
He told Don Bosco Radio that organized forces are collecting guns from all civilians in the 24 counties of Tonj Sate.
Wol assures that the government of Tonj State will protect its citizens from neighbouring states that will attempt to attack people or loot their cattle.
He clarifies that other neighbouring states will also collect guns from their civilians to avoid insecurity and armed cattle raiding.
The government of Tonj State will deploy forces to protect disarmed youth with their property across the state, Wol discloses.
The minister made the remark on Tuesday in Tonj.
