The Catholic Diocese of Yei on Saturday joined the Archdiocese of Juba in celebrating the one hundred years of faith.
The centenary is celebrated under the theme: ‘Renewing faith and responding to challenges’.
Parish Priest of Christ the King Cathedral Tom Poru explains that Rejaf was established in 1919 and now is hundred years.
He says Christians are not celebrating the years of the existence of the Church, but rather the achievements of catholic faith in Juba, Torit and Yei.
The Parish Priest encourages the worshipers to be in solidarity with Christians of the Archdiocese of Juba in renewing their faith after hundreds of years.
Fr Tom was preaching on Saturday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
