Community of Ibonni have raised concern to the Bishop of Torit Catholic Diocese over shortage of clean drinking water as well as hospital in the area.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Gasimiro Otwari calls on Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla to initiate feeding program in St Mary’s Primary School located in the area as that will encourage more children to enrol in school.

Responding to the challenges and concerns raised by the community of Ibonni, Bishop Ameyu admits that it is significant to have clean drinking water, hospital, school and others.

According to Bishop Ameyu, his visit was to listen to the needs of the Parishes, pledging to sit down with the team in the diocese to find out how to help.

The Catholic Prelate however says the diocese will still plead to donors to help in the situations of the people in different parishes of the diocese.
