Commissioner of Man-Lor County in Tonj State, Paul Mangong Awak confirms to Don Bosco Radio that flood and previous communal conflict has displaced over one thousand households from the area.
He says the floods displaced many households including government offices due to the heavy rainfall last month.
Mangong points out the terrible condition affecting the people because of the floods.
The County Commissioner discloses that the security situation is now clam despite hunger and diseases that are affecting the population.
The official spoke to Don Bosco Radio in a telephone call on Tuesday in Tonj.
