Deputy Head teacher in Tonj challenges girls to enrol in schools

Deputy Head Teacher of Aguka Payam of Tonj on Thursday challenged girls take interest in their education.
 
Charles Kofia Simon says the number of girl enrolled in the school has dropped compared to previous years, Don Bosco Radio Reports.
 
He says only thirty girls were enrolled from primary one to Six.
 
Kofia blames parents and guardians who may likely be forcing their young girls to get married at an early age.
 
The deputy head teacher advises parents to encourage their daughters to pursue their education as a priority.
 
The official made the remarks to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj.
