UNMISS Bangladesh Battalion Two donated stationeries including textbooks to five primary schools in Wau through the Ministry of Education to support school children in the state.
Director of Awiel Jedid Primary School Lodoviko Joseph Ulak said his pupils and administration are grateful to Bangladesh Battalion Two for their gift, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
Contingent Commander Colonel Majharul Hague said with the little fund they have, they have implemented many activities as their support to South Sudanese and people of Wau State.
Minister of Education Mario John Nyibang says partners’ support is very important to the ministry because it covers government’s gab.
The minister asks people of Awiel Jedid and other communities to send their children to schools because education is the future of their kids.
