Listeners of Voice of Hope Radio in Wau complained that the humanitarian services provided in the state are being given not to all, only to few families whose people are related to personnel working in NGOs that distribute food.
Voice of Hope Radio quoted some callers revealing that the humanitarian aid workers are not working for the benefit of the community, but only their own families.
They appeal to all humanitarian organizations to look into the matter with serious concerns.
Executive Director for Women Development Group, Rabha Elis, contradicted to what the listeners revealed about the services.
She explained that, the humanitarian organizations, both local and international are not discriminating against during distribution of aid neither with religion nor with families.
The director says humanitarian organizations do not focus on all places, but on affected areas.
She adds they are working together with the government to investigate who are the affected and who are not, in order to determine provision of services for all.
The speakers made the statements in a talk show during SAS program while discussing World Humanitarian Day on Friday.
