Rumbek Public Health sues trader to court for selling expired food items

Rumbek Public Health office on Wednesday dragged to court a trader identified as David Bak Leth in Rumbek market for selling expired food items.
 
According to Good News Radio, the suing was when the office was searching expired goods in all shops and found a trader selling expired biscuits and jam.
 
Senior Public Health Inspector, Makur Ater, trader Bak was arrested on Wednesday and was immediately dragged to court to explain his intention to retail perished goods to the people.
 
He states that selling expired food is harmful to human lives because they are poisonous.
 
Ater advises traders in Rumbek and South Sudan to avoid selling goods which production date ran out to their own people.
 
He warns that traders violating their advice will face the law because they are deceiving ordinary people.
 
Public Health Officer spoke to Good News Radio in Rumbek, Western Lakes State on Wednesday.
