Yei River government pays tribute to all slain humanitarian workers

Deputy Governor of Yei River Yusto Baba Dema paid tribute to all humanitarian workers killed when helping vulnerable people in the state, country and the world.
 
Addressing World humanitarian Day on Monday at Yei Freedom Square, he applauded dedication of humanitarian workers risk their lives to offering aid to needy, Radio Easter reports.
 
The deputy governor said every citizen has the power to inspire fellow human beings to join the action to make the world a better place to live in, says 
 
He explained that UN and all international humanitarian organizations in Yei River State and South Sudan have long been partners in delivering aid during the war and natural disasters.
 
Baba thanked the humanitarian organizations operating in Yei for their courage and risking their lives in some most difficult environment providing assistance.
 
He promised to the support all humanitarian workers and urges them to continue with the spirit of hard work.
 
The deputy governor was addressing the gathering at Yei Freedom Square on Monday during the celebration of the International Humanitarian Day
