Civil Society Network Organization coordinator Orasio Opio on Monday clarifies that the theme for the World Humanitarian Day was to recognize efforts of female workers killed during services delivery.
He says the day is to celebrate female undying contribution to make the world a better place to live in by risking lives while offering aid to the needy, Voice of Hope reports.
UCDC Program Coordinator Yohanna Philip explains that there was no celebration at the state level but all organizations are providing services.
He congratulates the people of Wau State on World Humanitarian Day especially the women, and strongly appeals for support to female humanitarian workers.
