Female aid workers need protection, says minister tells citizens

Yei River State Minister of Gender Child and Social Welfare Christine Annite Phillip told citizens on Monday that female humanitarian workers need protection because they are vulnerable.
 
She said some women humanitarian workers lost their lives while delivering services to the people, Radio Easter reports.
 
The minister explains that many humanitarian workers face challenges of being separated from their families and spend lives offering services to South Sudanese citizens especially in Yei River state.
 
She congratulates them for dedicating themselves to deliver services to South Sudanese.
 
 
Minister Annite spoke during the celebration of the World Humanitarian Day on Monday in Yei.
