Togetherness and transparency in work is the key to success, Stephen Robo Musa Project Coordinator for Community Empowerment for Progress Organization in Wau assures local NGOs.
He says if people are committed in their work and always stick to the vision and mission, there will be progress in everything because the goal of national NGOs is to serve the community, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
Robo mentions that people witnessed in 2016 some international NGOs left Wau state, but local NGOs continued to work.
He vows that his office is ready to work together with Community Empowerment Foundation or CEF for community empowerment.
Lino Juma Marcellino pointed out that CEF started as learning institution, but later realized the demand of the community is huge on the organization.
He says their organization can now support people of Wau in particular and South Sudan as a whole morally and financially.
Community Empowerment Foundation is a nongovernment organization established by communities in Wau in 2018.
