Girl child education is very important and should be highly promoted in the country, say listeners of Don Bosco Radio in Tonj State.

One of the callers, Jojo Athiel encourages parents to take their daughters to the school to become sources of their happiness in the future.

The caller appeals to parents to bring up their daughters through studies in order to get proper knowledge so that they can manage their home affairs and their children well.

Athiel urges the government to take good responsibility and take schools to villages across the country for girls to learn.

Alfred Athian says girls discourage their parents when they get pregnant in the schools.

He urges boys not to disturb girls in their studies, but to give them time so that they can finish their schooling.

Another caller nicknamed 20 Breaks says parents should forgive their girls if they get pregnant in the schools.

”girls who have been spoiled from the school should be taken back to study after they have given birth in order to begin new life, he stresses.

‘Unwanted pregnancies sometimes made parents to think that girl child education is useless in the country, so dear girls please avoid poor management of your body and concentrate on studies in order to show the light which you were born for’, Mabior appeals.
