Traffic police appreciates governor for voluntary response to order

The Traffic Police Officer appreciates governor of Western Lakes State Mahmud Solomon for voluntarily taking government vehicles for registration to get number plates.
 
According to Good News Radio, on Friday the department of traffic police detained numberless motor bikes in a move that will see all bikes registered and owners getting SSD number plates.
 
Traffic Officer Deng Wedi Yak said it was the first time that the state government responded to their call describing it as a clear respect to the traffic roles.
 
He said the progress of registration is going on well and urged citizens to obtain licenses.
 
Wedi stressed that it is necessary for everyone to register voluntarily whether in Juba, Wau and Rumbek without being forced.
 
He pointed out that their office aim is for everyone to meet traffic requirements.
 
Yak cautions drivers and riders to respect one way traffic policy and speed limit to avoid accidents.
 
He appeals to citizens to take voluntarily initiative of registration.
