The governor of Yei River State has on Saturday said that the people of Yei need peace and not the war that is looming in the country.
Speaking to Radio Easter Emmanuel Adil Anthony stressed the need to give opportunity to civilians to live in peace.
He thanked the civilians who stood with him for peace.
‘All over the country there is calmness but for us here we are still suffering. Even for the past four months our roads were fine everything was returning to normal; let us give peace a chance for people of Yei’, governor reiterates.
The governor urges those in the bush to report to the cantonment sites so that they will receive their right positions.
‘Those in the bush should report to the cantonment, you soldiers of the country not for particular individuals,’ he explains
The governor spoke during the elevation of Rwonyi Boma to a Payam.
