The Catholic Bishop of Yei says ‘it has not been easy for the Diocese of Malakal to be for ten years without a Bishop.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe, who took part in the consecration and installation of Bishop Stephen Nyodho Ador, says it has been painful for the people of Malakal for the last ten years without a leader, Radio Easter reports.
The Christians of Malakal, the Church and nation are happy for the increase in the number of Bishops which shows that God takes care of his own people in spite of the difficulties, Bishop Lodu explains.
He says Malakal town is totally devastated because of the crisis and people of the town live in protection of civilians site came for the consecration celebration.
The Bishop was giving his message to the Christians at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday in Yei.
