At least 42,882 eligible girls on Monday received cash money from Girls Education South Sudan or GESS in Western Lakes State.
Addressing the learners William Tim Monybuny says the focus of GESS two is primarily on the attendance and transition to next level, Good News Radio reports.
He urges the scholars to commit themselves and study hard to get better results for promotion.
Windle Trust State acting team leader, Samuel Deng Majur assures that they are committed to minimize obstacles that hinder girls’ enrolment in schools.
The beneficiaries say they are happy to receive the money and that it has influenced them to continue with their education.
They call on fellow girls to keep accessing classes on daily basis to achieve good future.
GESS, a UK AID-funded program, is a direct payment to girls enrolled and regularly attending schools from primary five to senior four.
