The Minister of Information on Monday announced that citizens of Tonj State will commemorate the Martyrs Day on Friday due to the logistic issues.
William Wol Mayom told Don Bosco Radio that the public will celebrate at home on Tuesday and will come to Freedom Square on the second of August.
He explains that the government is preparing to celebrate the Martyrs’ Day together with peace conference held in former Tonj South.
‘It has been postponed to August 2nd due to logistical challenges this is what I want to announce,’ he stresses
The official made the remarks in an interview to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj.
