Trails and temptations are examinations to test Christian’s faith in God, says the Archbishop of the Central Equatoria Internal Province.

Paul Pitia Benjamin Yugusuk says Yei River State and the country at large live in a very difficult time, where their faith is being tempted every day.

‘All that is happening to you in this state and in this diocese, all the trails and temptations, are just examinations of your faith. So I wonder if you are going to pass the examinations or fail. We live in a difficult time and country. Our faith is being tempted every day. You either pass the test or we fail, says Archbishop Pitia.

Archbishop Pitia encourages Christians to be joyful, pure in their hearts and happy whenever trials and temptations come their way.

He urges every believer to consider trials and temptations as normal.

‘My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trails of many kind of things, be happy, normal and consider it pure. Means that time will come when you will be tempted at any time’, says Fr Pitia.
