Peace issues are very important says Bishop

The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Yei on says issues regarding peace are very vital to citizens of Yei River State and South Sudan at large.
 
Radio Easter quotes Erkolano Lodu Tombe explaining that it’s difficult for people to sustain the peace due to war in the country.
 
He adds that all churches are for peace and expect the implementation of the Revitalized Agreement to put an end to the suffering citizens.
 
‘The churches in Yei are working hard for peace to reign in the state, we know that the peace is signed, we want to experience it also in Yei. We support it, but when will it come to us? The signed peace should not be verbal,’ Bishop Lodu stresses
 
Bishop Lodu mentions that security is should be first priority followed by peace.
 
The Catholic Bishop says that people of Yei do not feel the essence of the signed peace but supports and looks forward to implementing it.
 
The catholic bishop was addressing the ECSS delegation on Friday in Yei.
