Yei Catholic Diocese on Friday welcomes a delegation of Episcopal Bishops led by the Archbishop of Equatoria province.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe says the visit of the archbishop brings peace to Yei state.
He prays that the peace brought by the Archbishop spread to the whole state.
‘When you landed here your feet is of good tiding and may it spread throughout the state to the people, government and CSO to keep firm in moving forward with hope and courage,’ the Catholic prelates stresses
Archbishop Paul Pitiya Benjamin Yogusuk says the purpose of the visit is to be in solidarity with the bishop and share information on implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
He stresses that the people of Yei have experienced insecurity and during conflict in the country.
The Archbishop hopes that as the deal is being implemented, people of Yei will come back and live in peace to embark on socio economy development.
‘Your people in this state has been experiencing insecurity and other related situations, it’s our prayer and hope that with the implementation of the peace deal will once again live in peace and harmony,’ the Archbishop adds.
The two religious leaders were talking during the delegation visit to Catholic Diocese of Yei.
