The new Deputy Governor and the Minister of Culture Youth and Sports of Western Lakes State were sworn-in to office on Wednesday.
Speaking during the ceremony, Stephen Mathiang Deng Monydit appreciated the governor for trusting him to serve the state.
He urges commissioners and youth to cooperate with the government to achieve peace and development in the state.
Governor Mahmud Solomon Deer told the house that the aim of the appointment was to restore peace through sports and community mobilization in the state.
He cautions the officials against inciting community to go for conflicts but, work for peace and stability of the state.
Government officials, NGOs representatives, civil servants in the state secretariat attended swearing in ceremony on Wednesday.
