Wau State Governor on Tuesday told the Assembly Members to go and disseminate peace conference resolutions between cattle keepers and farmers to the people.
Angelo Taban Biajo says it is the duty of the assembly to disseminate the 23 articles of peace conference resolutions to citizens in their areas.
The governor added that the assembly members have very important role to play among communities in disseminating the recommendations.
He disclosed forming committees to ensure effective implementation of the resolutions to prevent further conflict between pastoralists and farmers.
Meanwhile, Acting Speaker Viola Alexander Umeli expressed assembly members’ readiness to spread the resolutions to their people.
The officials made the statements at Wau State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
