Committee of volunteer youth in Hai Jebel ‘A’ residential area in Wau with help from elders started putting security lights on roads to reduce crimes in their place.
Committee representative, Geoffrey Marcelo Franco, says the idea is to improve security and decrease theft.
He discloses that they have now received the lights that can be connected in the area.
Marcelo explains that the community of Hai Jebel is suffering from the same problems and challenges that are facing the communities in other areas.
The representative encourages all societies in other areas and business people to follow the same idea of Hai Jebel in order to lower criminal practices.
