Passing a vote of no confidence against the state Minister of Heath has no political motives, said Members of Wau State Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.

Parliamentarians say they are only performing their mandate in overseeing the duties of ministries for smooth services delivery.

‘There is no political motive behind vote of no confidence. Those who said so, trying to draw the attention of the public, are not correct. We are one party. The Minister is from our party and the constitution of our party is to fight corruption. Therefore, we cannot motivate any political will. We are following the constitution as well as the constitution of the state. What I want to say about those who are trouble makers, they want to make allegation so that it makes political coalition in the state. The law is in place. Anybody who wants to collide with the governor, or the assembly or any stakeholder, I will say no, because there is no any political motive behind the vote of no confidence’, the MPs stresses.

They caution that the state minister of Health should remain at home and not to sign any document of the ministry because he is no longer a constitutional post holder.
