Hope Society Organization with Norwegian Refugee Council support on Tuesday concluded ‘arts for peace’ workshop for youth and some women in the community.
Organization’s representative David Uku discloses that they will continue with the project for one year.
He explains that ‘Art for Peace’ includes drama, music and drawings that contribute in peace building process.
Some of the participants say they will use the knowledge they got to help in peace building within the society.
Meanwhile Minister of Information Culture, Youth and Sports, Rose Mary Mariano, says youth are peace ambassadors.
She urges all participants not to ignore the knowledge they gained, but should go and practice it in order to bring peace with in the community.
The workshop brought together 135 participants from the youth and women in the society.
