The International Organization of Nonviolent Peace Force on Tuesday graduated thirty young persons who underwent gender-based violence prevention training in Maleng-Agok Payam of Western Bahr-Naam County.
The training started on April 23 and ended on June 25, 2019, Good News Radio reports.
Gabriel Kwasi Dankyi, International Youth Protection officer in Rumbek explains that the training aimed at engaging men in the prevention of gender-base violence in the society.
He called on the youth to make good use of the knowledge they have acquired to bring peace among communities.
Rungano Bakasa, Nonviolent team leader, appreciated participants for accepting to attend the training.
Grandaunts Representative Awan Makuei Tompiu appealed to the local community to send their children to school to bring peace in the state.
