The Minister of Youth and Sport in Yei River State says Terres Des Hommes is reducing unemployment rate in the county.
Mawa A. Moses says TDH employment opportunities for youth helped in reducing the criminal activities in town, Radio Easter reports.
‘Many women been employed through the organisation and youth as well which reduced in criminal activities in the area, we are appealing to you that we want you to do more’, he says.
Scopas John Terres Representative says people are jobless in town including the grandaunts that are holders of masters and bachelors yet they are skilled and can become self-reliance.
‘There are no jobs for people who graduated and it is important for us the organisations partners to expand this kind of initiative in this town’, he urges.
The speakers were talking to the NGOs at the Freedom Square during the first World Youth Skilled Day celebration in Yei on Monday.
