A priest of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at the Catholic Diocese of El-Obied calls on the congregation to avoid rejecting people or neighbors and show God’s love to them.
Father James William Silgat advises everybody to be a good example like the Good Samaritan in the Bible.
‘Some people who are rejected, considered to be outcast, are the ones who know the love of God much more than even the religious. So today, the gospel is reminding us, who is our neighbor? How can we live with our neigbnhours? There are poor people among us, elderly people, sick, visually impaired and orphans. These people live among us. As a good Christians, be good to your neighbor. Even those you consider your enemy’ says Fr William.
People should be frank and smooth with their rivals when they are in need of help, he advises.
‘Help those who are always planning evil to you. Help them when they are almost dying or when they are in danger. Your help will change their hearts and lives, Fr William urges.
