Western Lakes State government postpones the Independence Day celebration to July 17th due to logistical issues.

In an exclusive interview with Good News Radio, Isaac Majak Ror assures citizens that the celebration will take place despite challenges.

Majak calls on citizens to be patient as preparation to commemorate the day is under way.

‘We have some logistical and technical problems. So people will not be able to conduct any activity because the free square in Rumbek is full of water even though there are no difficulties facing the committee that has been formed to organize the celebration. That’s why we pushed it from 12th to 17th Wednesday will be able to conduct our normal celebration of the 9th July’, said Majak

The Minister was speaking to Good News Radio on Friday in Rumbek.
