Gbudue Deputy Speaker questions why public schools not working well

The Deputy Speaker of Gbudue State Transitional Legislative is questioning the governor to explain to public why government schools are not functioning well.
 
Christine Faustino Mokorondere during the celebration of South Sudan Independence Day in Yambio on Tuesday expressed her worries on the poor performance by government schools in the state, Radio Anisa reports.
 
She recalls that government schools were progressing well in the past.
 
Gbudue State Governor, Badagbu Daniel Rimbasa says the government is committed in supporting schools even those burnt down during the recent conflict is being reconstructed.
 
The governor says the government in partnership with European Union has been giving 40 Dollars to teachers and a procedure is followed to get that money.
 
He adds that the government has started giving money to support girls’ education.
 
The speakers made the remarks during the celebration of South Sudan Independence day at Yambio Freedom Square on Tuesday.
