The Commissioner of Yei River County is urging South Sudanese to be proud of their country.
Justin Lokonga Kenyi urges people to be joyful of the independence of South Sudan.
He also encourages everybody to be peaceful to one another and minimize drinking.
Lokonga also assured his citizens of safe security in the area and that they should not fear because everything is under control.
‘The security of Yei River County is in place. The situation is peaceful and there is no fear. The security inside and outside the county is safe’, he told inhabitants.
The commissioner spoke to Radio Easter in an exclusive interview on Wednesday in his office.
