The governors of Wau and Tonj States say they are ready to implement the resolutions of the peace and reconciliation conference to stop conflict between farmers and pastoralists to realise stability.
Governor Angelo Taban Biajo says Wau, Tonj and Gogrial States are ready to provide security to citizens in the counties.
He adds that the commissioners and chiefs of all counties have a big role to play in avoiding hatred and problems among communities.
Taban urges people to unite and build peace within their communities.
Meanwhile Governor of Tonj, Matthew Mathiang Magoordit, assures citizens of their readiness in implementing the resolutions and realizes peaceful coexistence.
He explains that the root cause of the problem is not yet discussed in a good way because it is not only conflict between farmers and pastoralists, but also opposition.
The two governors spoke to Voice of Hope Radio after the conclusion of the peace and reconciliation conference in Wau State.
