People with disability urge MPs to endorsement laws that support them

The People living with disability in Wau on Friday presented petition to state legislature asking for increased number of their representation in the assembly.
 
Chairman John Akot says the purpose of their meeting with the state acting speaker is to give their demands about their representation in the assembly. 
 
He adds that the people living with disability are facing many challenges in term of basic needs, medication and others.
 
Some representative express their feeling after the meeting and say law makers need to make laws that can allow their rights in the community respected especially while receiving services.
 
Acting speaker Viola Alexander Umelai assures the group that assemble have received complains and promises to work on the laws that will grant the rights of people with disability in the state. 
 
The state speaker appeals to citizens to respect people living with disability.
