Christians’ full participation during synod impresses Catholic Bishop

The Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio diocese expresses happiness over the good Christians participation during the preliminary synod discussion in Nzara.
 
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala appreciates the participants for their active participation.
 
What the participants will come up with during the discussion will be put among the principles of the diocese, he notes.
 
Bishop Hiboro mentions that the synod should give hope to speak about the faith, diocese and the people concerned.
 
He assures that all what they are going to discuss during this preliminary discussion will be implemented for the development of the diocese.
 
Sister Jacinta Habiba Dagbaboro from the congregation of Our Lady Queen of Peace presented a group discussion which indicates insufficient teachings on the sacraments of the Catholic Church.
 
She reveals that many young people do not want to go for the sacrament of matrimony as they refer to it as the sacrament for elderly people.
 
Fr Andrea Mbuniwia outlines the importance of different media outlets including local radio stations as the possible and effective means of evangelization at the moment.
 
He suggests that by the end of 2030 the diocese should all be covered by radios and other social media platforms.
 
This Synod went in different stages and now it is at preliminary discussion and will conclude in November 2019 with expected church celebration
