The Transitionl National Lagislative Assembly or TNLA summons Liech State governor to appear on Wednesday in the parliament to answer questions on why he obstructed MPs’ work in the state.

Fatuma Nyawang Bilieu says she and her colleague Gibreen Tab were in the list of people not allowed to travel for the dissemination of peace agreement in Liech state.

She cites insecurity in the area due to the killing of the late parliamentarian Simon Deng.

Minister of Parliamentarian Affairs Bashir Gbendi stresses the need to revive governors and speakers’ forum to ease information sharing.

The power given to governors to appoint and relieve its members is causing chaos in the states, he believes.

The minister urges governors to cooperate with national MPs for easy dissemination of the Revitalized Peace Agreement to the people at grassroots.
