A Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Torit is calling on faithful to commit themselves to the call of God and deferent field of vocation.
Father Arkangelo Lokoro Pio advises those who are called by God not to run away from their work but rather continue serving the people of God until death, despise difficulties.
He advises couples to keep their strong relationship with their partners and the promises they made during their matrimonies.
‘When we are called by God, to do our work, let us not go back. This is the message for every one of us. Many of us were called. We were called to be Bishop and some people start running away. We were called to be priests, we start running away, called to be sisters and brothers and run away. We were called to be Catechist, but we run away. We have Matrimonies in our marriage, but we divorce. Were called to servant, but we don’t serve our people. We were called to be the doctors to operate people, but start looking for other jobs with NGO. Do you listen to God, calling you to be His servant?’ said Fr Lokoro.
He advises people to stay away from making others to be their slaves, but look at one another as brothers and sisters.
He calls for equality among believers and that people are all from the royal family of God.
The catholic prelate was giving his reflection on Radio Emmanuel on Sunday morning.
