The Head of Ugumalu Primary School in Kumbur Payam of Heiban County is appealing to the communities around to send their children to school.
During the closing ceremony of third term, Pastor Yasir Jula Kumini stresses that it is not time to keep children to look after cows and goats, but to send them to school for brighter future.
Pastor Jula remarks that school is a place where children can be taught and learn many things.
He calls on the pupils to respect the school rules and regulations for better performances.
Pastor Jula mentions lack of scholastic materials including textbooks, exercise books, pens and chalks among others.
He calls for support to address the issue.
Lutheran Church Primary School of Laro Ugumalu has three teachers and 150 pupils. The school starts from pre Unit to class three.
