Rumbek Senior Public Health Office launched drainage system in Rumbek market to allow water run through.
According to Good News Radio, last week, James Magok Akeec ordered traders in the town to dig runways to avoid water stagnation in the market.
He said they are working hard together with business people to create good environment in the town.
Magok requested traders in the town to cooperate with the law and order to keep their surroundings clean and protect the public from water borned diseases.
A business man, Joshua Anyuon, suggested building of concrete drainage system to avoid blockage in the water runway.
The officials made remarks to Good News Radio on Wednesday during the launching of water drainage system in Rumbek Market.
