Over two thousand Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs receive food and none food items in Tonj from International Committee of the Red Cross or ICRC.
Tonj State Governor, Mathew Mathiang Magoordit says the IDPs were coming from Wau and some parts of Tonj State after the conflict between cattle keepers and farmers.
Magoordit points out that the government of Tonj State is working hard in coordination with ICRC and other aid agencies to support the IDPs.
The Governor advises the IDPS to make good use of the food and non food items.
He appreciates ICRC for its unwavering support to the needy throughout South Sudan.
Don Bosco did not manage to reach the IDPs for comments.
